Kalila wa Dimna (Arabic Edition)

Book: Kalila wa Dimna
Author: Abdullah Ibn al-Muqaffa

Wonderful tales and lofty philosophy told by animals and birds of every color and kind, full of wisdom and lessons. The sage Bidpai told them to the Indian king Dabshalim, to teach and refine him behind a veil of entertainment. They were then carried into Persian on a remarkable journey, and finally Ibn al-Muqaffa brought them to us in clear, elegant Arabic, bringing the distant close and making the difficult easy, so they became delightful, entertaining stories passed from generation to generation.
