• It features bead-embroidered designs for cushion covers, picture frames, lampshades and tablecloths.
• It includes a wealth of simple, wonderful ideas and useful technical notes to guide you as you make these designs.

The many kinds of beads, whether glass, ceramic, clear or frosted, or shaped like leaves, roses, hearts and stars, in all their different sizes, bring shine and sparkle to the things we use at home every day.

Whether you are an expert at beadwork or taking your very first steps along this lovely path, you will certainly enjoy making the wonderful designs in Bead Embroidery, especially since they rely on four main techniques: sewing beads directly onto fabric, making beaded edgings, threading beads onto wire to make shapes, and mixing beads with white glue to create a beautiful coating for decorating surfaces. These techniques are very simple, which means you can finish the designs easily and quickly.

The book also offers many ideas for beading cushion covers, as well as ideas for special occasions such as weddings, including beaded tablecloths, sherbet glasses and clothes hangers, adding sparkle to these special days. It also lists the tools and materials needed for each design and shows a wide range of bead types and shapes, illustrated with photos.
