About the authors: Romy Lewis and Victoria Jossel grew up together in the same area of London. Victoria graduated in computer science and worked at a large bank, but she wanted to unleash her creative energy, so she set up a website to take orders for cupcakes she made in her own kitchen. As demand grew, Victoria turned to Romy, a journalism and media graduate, and invited her to come to London to found Lola's bakery together in 2006. Since then, the two have found joy and excitement in running the business. Alongside management, Victoria and Romy work with their team of bakers to create new cupcake flavors, some of which take four months to perfect. About the photographer: Photographer Kate Whitaker is widely known for her wonderful food photography, which has appeared in many books.
