Abu Daryah: A Kuwaiti Folk Tale (Arabic Edition)

Butti retold the story in about 40 pages. Here is a taste of it:
A king who ruled a faraway city suddenly fell ill. No one was able to cure him or prescribe a medicine that worked, so he remained bedridden for a long time.
One day a stranger came to the palace and claimed he could help the king recover from his illness. The minister showed the man into the king's chamber, and the king asked him eagerly:
– Are you sure of what you say, man? All the doctors have failed to cure me!
The man bowed respectfully and said:
– Your cure from this illness, my lord the king, requires catching a rare fish of ninety-nine colors, which you must eat for lunch.
