Managing Self-Development is a summary of exercises whose value for personal development has been proven in practice. An easy-to-use practical guide, it focuses on specific topics such as learning to trust others and developing self-knowledge, as well as communicating through body language, expressing feelings, being confident in asserting your rights, and exploring the dimensions of different relationships.

Each session consists of warm-up exercises, a main exercise and a closing exercise. Each session gives a timing for every exercise and includes detailed notes that cut down the time needed to prepare.

The book takes a purely practical approach to its topics, making it especially useful for therapists, teachers and others who run groups and plan self-development exercises.
